DRN Industriel carries Standard Xchange heat exchangers: shell and tube, plate and frame, brazed plate, air cooled, and units for naval and marine service. Our technicians install, commission and repair them out of our Mirabel workshop.

An exchanger is settled on the service, not on a surface area. The two fluids and their inlet and outlet temperatures, the flow, the pressure drop you can allow and the tendency to foul decide the type, the material and how the bundle is reached. A plate unit cleans quickly and tolerates solids poorly, while a shell and tube takes the pressure and rinses more slowly.

What it takes to size an exchanger

Both fluids and their flows, the inlet and outlet temperatures you are targeting, the working pressure, the pressure drop you can allow and the tendency to foul. With those our specialists come back with the type, the surface and the material that hold, and what it will take to keep it clean.
