DRN Industriel carries agitators and mixers from Labour Taber and NOV, and sizes them on the duty the tank actually imposes. Our technicians assemble, commission and repair them out of our Mirabel workshop, with the wear parts in stock.

A mixer is settled on the vessel, not on a catalogue sheet. Batch volume, viscosity and the solids you need held in suspension decide the impeller, the shaft and the entry. Top entry direct drives, static in line mixers, hydrofoil impellers and jacketed agitated reactors each answer a different one of those constraints.

What it takes to size an agitator

The working volume of the tank and its geometry, the fluid and its viscosity, the solids content and the particle size, the result you are after and the duty cycle. With those our specialists come back with the impeller, the speed and the shaft that hold, and the brand that builds them.
